Ada K Lee, DO

Dr. Lee is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist with extensive experience managing complex disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, and liver. Dr. Lee is also board-certified in obesity medicine.  She also serves as the Pediatric Medical Advisor for the Bariatric and Metabolic Weight Loss Center. Dr. Lee is a native New Yorker. She grew up in Brooklyn, completed her medical school training on Long Island, and completed both her pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.  Several of her interests, research, and publications are in eosinophilic esophagitis, Celiac disease, obesity prevention/ management, and endoscopic procedures. She believes that communication and building strong relationships between physicians, patients, and their families are integral to the successful treatment of her patients. She strives to provide the best family-oriented medical care to her patients. Dr. Lee also has a strong interest in the usage of technology in medicine and serves on the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) Technology Committee.
