I, like many Americans today, come from a family that struggles with obesity. Obesity can touch all aspects of life. It can make the average daily tasks seem daunting. It can contribute and cause chronic illness. It can leave psychological scars. That is why when it came time to choose a surgical specialty, I chose Bariatric Surgery. With the tools I’ve learned throughout my training I can surgically treat obesity. Through small laparoscopic incisions, I can help cure chronic illnesses. My goal is to improve my patient’s quality of life.

The extra training I have undergone in Advanced Minimally Invasive GI and Bariatric Surgery has provided me with the skills and knowledge required to address my patients' pathologies through small laparoscopic and/or robotic incisions. Whether they need their gallbladder removed, a hernia repaired or help with weight loss, I can offer an approach shown to have a shorter recovery time and less postoperative pain.
