I am a Board-Certified Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist), who has a background in non-surgical sports and spine care. My emphasis is on the use of non-pharmacological and non-surgical means, such as physical therapy and image-guided procedures, to optimize a patients function and activity. My practice includes the diagnosis and care of back, neck, and tailbone pain, as well as nerve pain originating from these areas and radiating to the limbs, such as sciatica-type pains. I routinely perform spinal procedures such as epidural injections, facet joint procedures, and injections of the large joints like hips, knees, shoulders and the sacroiliac joint. I also perform ganglion impar blocks and injections of the sacrococcygeal joint for tailbone pain.
