I have been in the field of academic Anesthesiology for more than 2 decades.  As a believer of lifelong learning, I always put myself out to what makes me a better academician. I immigrated to United States to pursue more knowledge and conduct high quality research. I specialize in anesthesia for Orthopedics and Neurosurgery in addition Acute Pain Medicine and Regional Anesthesia.  My academic interests include optimizing postoperative pain control while minimizing opioid use.  I do this by using nerve blocks and advocating to expand their use.  My other interests are to improve physician burnout understanding and creating an inclusive healthy work environment.
