Ilana Yel, DO

I graduated from NYIT/ NYCOM in 2003, and came to SB for my postgraduate training. I completed General Psychiatry residency program in 2007, serving as a chief resident during my PGY IV year. I completed my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training here in 2009. Been a SB faculty since 2013.

I have worked on adult consultation and Liaison Psychiatry Service for 10 years, and currently run Child & Adolescent Psychiatry  Consult service in SB Children’s hospital, and am a director  of Psychiatry Clerkship for RSOM. In my small out-patient practice here in SB, I see children and young adults with depression, anxiety, and ADHD, although currently am not accepting any new patients. I also provide pediatric pre-transplant evaluations for SB Kidney transplant service.
