Michael A Secko IV, MD

Dr. Michael Secko is Vice Chair of the Office of Faculty Affairs in the Department of Medicine and the System-Wide Director of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) at Stony Brook University Hospital. He has published extensively in the medical literature, with scholarly interests focused on cardiac and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), musculoskeletal ultrasound, and regional anesthesia applications of point-of-care ultrasound. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Secko provides emergency medicine and POCUS education and training throughout the Windward Islands, supporting global ultrasound education and clinical practice.
