Neil E Adler, MD

Dr. Adler is currently the Director of Breast Imaging at Stony Brook Advanced Imaging, Commack , as well as  Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Department of Radiology; Divisions of Breast Imaging and Body Imaging, Renaissance School of Medicine. His expertise in the field of Radiology covers both Women’s Imaging and Body Imaging, bringing nearly 33 years experience as a Radiologist serving both in academia and private practice. His passion for Radiology began at age 11, as one of the first  pediatric patients to undergo a head CT in the city of New York (Mount Sinai Hospital). This passion continued through his Radiology Residency at Montefiore Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident of the fourth largest Radiology residency in the country. He has since served as Residency advisor and Ombudsman at the Long Island College Hospital, followed by many years serving the public as a private practice Radiologist.

Dr. Adler has been a proud Long Island resident his entire life. He is an avid cyclist, as well as a voracious reader of anything and everything, and a former sailing enthusiast. His current biggest enjoyment is spending quality time with his wife and three children.
