I have always found inspiration from our older community.  I believe they have the wisdom of years and the humility of children.  In the Philippines where I grew up, it is a tradition to care for our elderlies.  This is what motivated me to join our Movement disorders and Memory disorders center, which predominantly cater to our older population.

Currently, there are no means to stop a neurodegenerative disorder that affects movements or cognition.  This is what makes these centers special because every day is a moment to cherish and every day is a perspective gained. 

As a part of the care team, I can make a difference while I learn about life through their eyes.
