Zachary Jacobs, DO

Dr. Jacobs is an adolescent medicine physician at Stony Brook Children’s where he has worked since July 2015. As a native New Yorker, born and raised on Long Island, Dr. Jacobs is a proud graduate of our pediatric residency program. Following the completion of his fellowship in adolescent medicine Dr. Jacobs came back home. After all, it was the cumulative experiences he had during his upbringing in Suffolk County that led to his passion for providing comprehensive care to adolescents and young adults. His clinical and academic interests include mental health care (Anxiety, Depression, ADHD), sexual and reproductive health, care provided to youth with chronic illnesses, and care of transgender and other gender and sexual minorities. He takes pride in advocating for this patient population and giving a voice to the voiceless.
