About Adrienne M Haughton

About

I developed a passion for dermatology during my first year of medical school when I had the opportunity to work at the Dermatology Branch of the National Institute of Health. I witnessed clinicians dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through innovative treatments there. I knew then that I wanted to specialize in a field where I could have a similarly positive impact on patients' lives. As a dermatologist, I find great joy in helping patients of all ages with conditions affecting their skin, their hair, and their nails. Whether it's clearing up cystic acne in teenagers to boost their confidence before college, it's regrowing hair in patients with alopecia so their family members notice fuller locks or it's developing individualized anti-aging treatments so patients look natural yet fabulous, I thrive on using my expertise to give patients a transformational experience.

Currently, my research focuses on assessing novel injectables for treating hair loss. The efficacy of emerging therapies inspires me daily to provide the latest advancements to my patients. My goal is for every patient to feel they have received state-of-the-art, exceptional care.
