Anna E Bortnick, MD, PhD, MS

Dr. Anna Bortnick is a specialized interventional cardiologist who protects and restores the hearts of patients in the Long Island and greater New York area. She serves as the Director of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Stony Brook University Hospital and teaches the next generation of heart doctors as a Professor of Medicine at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine.

Dr. Bortnick specializes in diagnosing and treating complex heart conditions—particularly coronary artery and heart valve diseases—using advanced, minimally invasive procedures. These modern techniques allow her to repair heart disease through a tiny puncture, helping patients recover much faster.
