Avraham Y Bluestone, MD

Dr. Avraham Bluestone, Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, graduated from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine with a combined MD/PhD degree. The topic of his dissertation from the neuroscience and biomedical engineering programs was '3-Dimensional Optical Tomographic Imaging.' He then continued on to do his Diagnostic Radiology Residency also at SUNY Downstate. His Fellowship in Neuroradiology was completed at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Appointed to Stony Brook University Hospital in 2012 and is the Program Director for the ACGME Neuroradiology Fellowship program in the department.  Dr. Bluestone is board certified in both General Diagnostic and with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology.
