Bernard Lau, MD

For over two decades, Dr. Lau has had the honor of caring for children of Long Island families as a primary care pediatrician. His passion lies in establishing enduring relationships with families and providing guidance, support, and compassionate care. Growing up in a sizable family, and now blessed with a child of his own, Dr. Lau understands that every child is unique and should get individualized care tailored to their specific needs.He aims to provide excellent care- advocating for the well-being of every child he encounters- to foster a healthy and bright future for the next generation.

Working at Stony Brook Children's has contributed to Dr. Lau's ongoing dedication to lifelong learning and affords him the privilege of sharing his knowledge and experience with budding pediatric residents and medical students.
