About
Emergency Medicine provides physicians the extraordinary opportunity to relieve suffering for people in their most vulnerable circumstances. I feel it is the most rewarding specialty and that was my inspiration to lead Stony Brook’s successful efforts to bring high quality emergency care and medical education to eastern Long Island as Chief of Emergency Medicine at Peconic Bay Medical Center.
Returning to work at Stony Brook as faculty was a wonderful homecoming having completed my residency training here years earlier. It is a privilege to live and work in the Stony Brook community and I look forward every day to the opportunities afforded to me to care for our patients.
