Dr. Carolyn Milana is a proud Long Islander who has dedicated the majority of her career to making a difference in the lives of our youngest patients within the Stony Brook Medicine community. She specializes in the medical care of hospitalized children from birth through age 21. Dr. Milana is board-certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and brings a genuine passion for delivering evidence-based, top-tier care to every patient.

Dr. Milana's commitment extends beyond bedside care; she is an avid contributor to the pediatric field of medicine, focusing on quality improvement. She has published several successful publications and enhanced outcomes and services, ensuring children receive the best possible care. As the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Physician in Chief of Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, Dr. Milana is a leader dedicated to shaping the future of pediatric healthcare for the community.
