About
Dr. Cathy Coleman has been with Stony Brook University since 1996, practicing in our Patchogue Children’s Advanced Pediatric Care office since it opened in 1997. She has dedicated her career to the challenge of caring for sick, medically complex, and well-pediatric patients from premature newborn babies to 21-year-old college students. She currently is co-director of our International Medicine Elective (for pediatric residents), enjoying travel and international medical care. She has enjoyed coordinating the Reach Out and Read program which helps get books to babies and young children at their office well visits. She is proud of the many resident and student physicians she has trained over the years in their office duties. For Dr. Coleman, watching our learners grow into kind, caring, and competent pediatricians has been one of the highlights of her career.
