Charles S Swersky, MD

Charles Swersky, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician who has been providing compassionate, comprehensive care to children and their families in Plainview and the surrounding communities for many years. His practice, located in a welcoming office that has served as a pediatric home for the community for more than 70 years, offers personalized care in a comfortable, family-friendly environment. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Swersky has built lasting relationships across generations, partnering with parents to support their children's health and development. He prides himself on being a community-based pediatrician who still visits newborns in the hospital. Today, he is honored to care for many second-generation patients, reflecting the trust families have placed in him over the years. 

He has served as a clinical educator, mentoring pediatric residents in the outpatient setting. Currently, he holds the titles of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine.
