About
I began my career at Stony Brook as a Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU, where I gained valuable experience in critical care. Motivated by my passion for providing high-quality care in challenging environments, I transitioned to working in the Emergency Room, further developing my skills in managing complex and acute conditions. My experiences in these high-pressure settings inspired me to pursue advanced education, ultimately leading me to become an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Adult-Gerontology.
I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, time-sensitive, and team-based care for patients facing unstable, chronic, complex, acute, and critical conditions. My background in critical care and my advanced education have equipped me to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. I am honored to serve as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Room at Stony Brook Hospital, where I continue to contribute to patient care and work alongside an exceptional healthcare team.
I am also committed to making a positive impact on the field of healthcare by educating and mentoring novice Registered Nurses, helping them understand the critical role quality care plays in our Emergency Room setting.
