Christina Romano, PA

I am a urologic Physician Assistant practicing at Stony Brook University Hospital clinic locations. I graduated from University of California, San Diego with Bachelor of Science in Biology. I then went on to complete my Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Stony Brook University. As a general urology Physician Assistant, I evaluate and treat a wide variety of conditions including benign prostatic hyperplasia, kidney stones, incontinence, and blood in the urine (hematuria). Patient education is an important part of my treatment approach as it leads to improved outcomes and stronger patient relationships. By utilizing evidence-based medicine guidelines to shape the conversation, the patient is able to feel that there was a shared decision making in their treatment plan.
