Cynthia J. Onufrak, NP

Cynthia Onufrak is an accomplished nurse practitioner with a strong background in neurology and geriatric care. Having embarked on her nursing career in 2012 as a registered nurse on a neurology/medicine floor, Cynthia's dedication and passion for nursing led her to pursue a master's degree. In 2018, she successfully completed her studies as an adult health nurse practitioner, specializing in geriatrics.

Transitioning to the role of nurse practitioner in 2019, Cynthia found herself again caring for stroke patients, where her expertise and compassionate approach make a significant impact on their recovery. Her genuine love for teaching and healing patients has been the driving force behind her commitment to nursing.

Cynthia is a proud alumna of Stony Brook University's School of Nursing program, having earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the esteemed institution. With over a decade of experience working at Stony Brook, she remains dedicated to providing exceptional care and is proud to be a provider within the Stony Brook community.
