As a native to Long Island, and having experienced the loss of loved ones to different types of cancer, it’s extremely important to me to spend time with each and every patient, and their friends or family that accompany them to these oncology visits.

I have a strong background in orthopedics, starting out as an Athletic Trainer and making my way to Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedics at Stony Brook. In Orthopaedic Oncology, I am able to connect with patients of all ages, and all phases and walks of life.

A big part of Orthopaedic oncology is investigative work; determining if something may be cancerous can be stressful for the patient and their family, as well as time consuming with an array of tests that may need to be completed.

Here at Stony Brook, we are lucky to have some of the best known experts in the world to assist in the evaluation and care plans of our patients. I feel lucky to have a great research facility so close to home, and know that Stony Brook is committed to the care of each patient. It’s my goal to treat every patient with the patience and respect that I would want my family member to receive in a similar situation.
