As a nephrologist, I was drawn to kidney medicine by a deep fascination with the complexity of electrolyte and acid–base disorders and by the uniquely holistic, long-term care the specialty provides across multiple organ systems. I have extensive experience managing chronic kidney disease and its intersections with cardiovascular health, including serving as a founding team member of the Kidney–Heart Consultation Service at the University of Washington and establishing a combined Cardiology–Nephrology outpatient clinic. Now practicing at Stony Brook after relocating from Seattle with my children, I’m excited to partner with new patients, provide thoughtful and comprehensive kidney care, and support their health over the long term.
