About
I am a board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine attending physician and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. I am an expert in recognizing and managing life-threatening medical and traumatic conditions in children and adolescents. I strongly believe in the art of shared-decision decision-making with families to provide patient-centered and high-quality care. A collaborative approach with my colleagues across the hospital is a key part of my job in taking care of my patients. I grew up in Brooklyn, NYC, and received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stony Brook University. I am very excited to be back to serve the Stony Brook community and advocate for the children of Long Island. I am enthusiastic about medical education through simulation, quality improvement, and patient safety, as well as research. I recently published a research paper on the topic of pediatric airway.
