Eric Hand, PhD

Dr. Eric Hand is with the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Department as a clinical psychologist. Dr. Hand worked as a special education teacher in Brooklyn and earned a master's degree in special education from Hunter College through the New York City Teaching Fellows program. He graduated from Florida State University 's clinical psychology doctoral program.  He completed his clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Dr. Hand has conducted research on ADHD, executive functions, and the development of reading-related skills with preschool and elementary school aged children.
