I majored in business administration in undergraduate and worked in the business world before pursuing my medical degree. The specialty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) appealed to me in its ability to bridge workplace and medical worlds and in its focus on prevention. My OEM residency included travel medicine, and I also obtained additional certification in travel medicine. Travel is an amazing way to appreciate the beauty of our earth and its peoples, and I am glad to have the opportunity to facilitate safe healthy travel.
