Farrukh M Koraishy, MD, PhD

Dr. Farrukh Koraishy is a board-certified nephrologist and Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he has cared for patients since 2019. He is known for his exceptional clinical care and was honored with the Stony Brook Star Award for Excellence in Clinical Work (2024). Dr. Koraishy completed his medical degree at Dow Medical College, followed by Internal Medicine residency training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. He then completed a Clinical Nephrology Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine and earned a PhD in Investigative Medicine from the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
