Farzan M Gorgani, DO

Dr. Gorgani completed his ophthalmology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and the One Brooklyn Health system in Queens and Brooklyn, NY. He was the chief resident during his last year of residency. He then went on to complete his fellowship in oculoplastics, cornea, cataract and refractive surgery under the tutelage of Dr. Todd Beyer. With refined clinical and surgical skills, he mentored and operated with the ophthalmology residents at Summa Akron City hospital and helped cover the ophthalmology service at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. After graduating fellowship, Dr. Gorgani was on teaching staff at Mount Sinai New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. 
 
Dr. Gorgani is a native New Yorker, attending Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Biochemistry, and medical school at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine earning a degree in Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). During medical school, Dr. Gorgani was accepted to the Academic Scholars Program where he spent an extra year teaching medical students, performing research and earning another Master of Science degree.
