Fatima D Sheikh, DO

Dr. Fatima Sheikh is a distinguished, board-certified nephrologist dedicated to delivering thoughtful, comprehensive kidney care with a strong emphasis on patient education and collaboration. She serves as Assistant Clinical Professor and Program Director of the Nephrology Fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she mentors future kidney specialists while providing expert care to patients with complex kidney conditions. In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Sheikh helped enhance Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) education initiatives, reinforcing her commitment to empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to better manage their kidney health.
