About Hanan Soliman-Lee

About

As a Physician Assistant specializing in Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine since 2001, I have cared for patients with neurologic and spine conditions throughout multiple Long Island institutions, guiding them from their initial evaluation through treatment and recovery. Neurology has been a passion of mine since it combines complex problem-solving with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' cognition, mobility, quality of life and best outcomes. That sense of purpose continues to drive my practice today. I have a special interest in Cognitive Impairment disorders such as Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease and Pain Syndromes.

I provide comprehensive, team-based care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Throughout my career, I have supported high-volume neurosurgical and orthopedic spine services while guiding patients on how to navigate complex neurologic conditions with confidence and compassion. I believe every patient deserves to understand their diagnosis and treatment options.

I have a longstanding interest in improving healthcare systems and clinical education. Earlier in my career, I contributed to and participated in academic neurosurgical programs through morbidity, mortality and cancer conference presentations, service leadership, and clinical research, experiences that continue to shape my evidence-based approach to medicine.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and maintaining an active lifestyle. Those experiences reinforce my commitment to helping patients regain function, maintain independence, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

My goal is simple: I have a systematic approach, to listen carefully, perform a thorough evaluation, and coordinate the right care at the right time so every patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their treatment plan.
