Hormuz Nicolwala, MD

Dr. Nicolwala is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics who completed his fellowship in Neonatology at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital in 2021. He is currently the Director of Stony of the Infant Apnea Program and is leading the effort to introduce Point-of-Care Ultrasound in the NICU. His research interests include Antibiotic Stewardship, POC U/S, and improving neonatal care with technology. He always had a passion for serving on the front lines, providing care to the sickest children, and guiding parents through the most difficult of times. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music having been a former radio DJ in college.
