About

Upon graduating with his medical degree from the University of Washington in 1978, Dr. Porte came to SUNY Stony Brook for his residency in obstetrics and gynecology where he earned the Resident of the Year Award in both 1984 and 1986. He has remained in the Stony Brook healthcare system ever since, including a two-year stint as a clinical assistant professor in Stony Brook’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Porte has been with our practice since 1986, where his expertise has been an essential part of the experience, we provide at Stony Brook Gynecology and Obstetrics.
