Since childhood, I always knew I was destined to be a nurse however my fascination for birth did not develop until I stepped foot in a hospital delivery room. After experiencing my first birth as a nurse, I felt a hunger to learn more. As the years passed, my passion surrounding the care of women expanded beyond the intrapartum period and grew to include all aspects of women’s health. Midwifery is more than a profession; it is a true calling of the heart. Being able to educate my patients and encouraging them to fully understand the care they are receiving is my favorite aspect of the job. I am committed to being a source of support to all women whilst providing them with a platform to have a voice and be heard.
