About
For the past 12 years, I have been a staff physician at St Francis Hospital in Hartford Connecticut and have served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine with UCONN and Quinnipiac Medical schools. I have had the privilege of training emergency medicine residents, rotating residents from other services, as well as medical students from both medical schools. Prior to this, in 2008, I served in a Core Faculty position with a then new Emergency Medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York.
My interests include medical education of medical students and residents of all levels, with a particular interest in simulation including procedural training. I enjoy mentoring learners in the clinical setting, to share in their enthusiasm for new discoveries, and to have the opportunity to model compassionate care for the emergency department patient.
