Karunya Bhattacharya, DO

Dr. Karunya (Karni) Bhattacharya has joined the Stony Brook OPD at Quannacut Outpatient Services. 

Dr. Bhattacharya obtained her medical degree at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Adelphi University. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, where she served as chief resident. 

Dr. Bhattacharya has a range of experience, including contributions to a few research projects, case reports, and lectures. She has also volunteered at several hospitals and an animal shelter.
