Katrina A Terrigno, MD

Dr. Katrina Terrigno is an expert in pediatric hematology and oncology, with experience caring for children with cancer and a wide range of blood disorders. She was inspired to pursue this field after supporting a childhood friend through cancer treatment, an experience that continues to shape her compassionate, family-centered approach to care. Her research explored the impact of inflammation on patients with sickle cell disease. She is passionate about enhancing the quality of life through treatment, providing comprehensive care, and supporting families during the challenges of serious illness. A Long Island native, she is proud to return home to care for children and families in Suffolk County through Stony Brook Medicine.
