Leahana M Molzahn, PA

I decided I wanted to be a Physician Assistant while I was working in a research lab and had the opportunity to speak with patients for medical research. I knew I wanted to be more involved with their health care team.
My past experiences in gastroenterology, colorectal surgery and cancer research stood out in my years of PA school at Stony Brook. I fell in love with general surgery and have been working in Stony Brook General Surgery since May 2019.
I enjoy meeting new patients and helping to make their experience with our team a great one. I'm thorough with all my patients and I ensure they are involved in their own medical decision making. Growing up on Long Island made it an obvious choice to work at Stony Brook for my career.
