Dr. Linda Mamone serves as the Medical Director of Transfusion Services/Blood Bank at Stony Brook University Hospital. The service encompasses a Blood Donor Center and busy Apheresis Service, in addition to the blood bank operations/services. She has also served as the Associate Residency Program Director for the Pathology Residency Program since May 2022 and enjoys working with trainees. Dr. Mamone has interests in blood utilization, transfusion complications and therapeutic apheresis.
