Lindsay E Nolan, NP

Lindsay Nolan, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner for the Department of Medicine Hospitalist Service at Stony Brook Hospital.  She received her board certification in Family Health from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2022.  Lindsay joined the medicine hospitalist service to be at the center of patient care and help coordinate care between nursing, specialty consulting services and patient’s families.  She also finds it particularly rewarding working together as a team with other members of the hospitalist service.
She began her career as a registered nurse at Stony Brook Hospital on a medical-surgical unit in 2017.  During her time as an RN, she would administer care to her adult and geriatric patients who were hospitalized with a multitude of illnesses and conditions. Also in her six years as a bedside nurse, she cultivated her passion for supporting and caring for her patients when they are at their sickest and require hospitalization.
Originally from New Jersey, Lindsay received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Stony Brook University in 2016. The following year, she graduated with honors with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University.  To expand her scope of practice, Lindsay continued her education and received her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner from Stony Brook University in 2022.  Her studies focused on primary care in regard to preventative medicine and treatment of patients with acute or chronic illnesses.
When she is not working, Lindsay enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She also enjoys music, frequent hikes and traveling.
