Lisa Appelt, NP

Lisa Appelt is a New York State licensed and board certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional certification is through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Nurse Practitioner education through Long Island University and has a second degree in psychology through the State University of New York at New Paltz. Lisa Appelt has been caring for women throughout New York and New Jersey for the past 10 years. She gives special attention to patients encountering their first gynecology exam, those with reoccurring vaginitis, and those suffering from pain with intimacy. She is now thrilled to be joining Stony Brook Medical.
