About
Dr. Senzel directs the Hematology and Chemistry Core Laboratories and Point-of-Care Section at Stony Brook. She is a board-certified blood bank and apheresis physician. She signs out blood smears and body fluids with abnormal findings, hemoglobin electrophoresis, and platelet aggregations. Her clinical research interests include laboratory monitoring and reversal of anticoagulant and antiplatelet agents, transfusion support for patients with hematologic malignancies, and utilization of blood products and laboratory testing.
