Madalina Vlase, PA

Madalina was born and raised in Romania.  For as long as she can remember she wanted to work in the medical field.

After graduating from Long Island University, she joined the Interventional Cardiology team at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She first assisted in the Cath lab and followed up patients in cardiac recovery unit.

After moving to Long Island with her husband and daughter, she  joined Perioperative Medicine/Anesthesia team in 2004. She is the senior PA and  in collaboration with the medical director, she was instrumental in the growth and development of the Preoperative Services Department.

She recently accepted the role of Lead APP voted by her peers.  When she is not working she enjoys traveling, working out, and baking with her daughter.
