Marshall Nathaniel Leonard, MD

Emergency medicine is a medical specialty that suits who I am as a person in and outside the hospital. Emergency medicine has given me the opportunity and honor to care for people and their families during their most stressful times of their lives. To provide acute and emergent care to treat common illnesses and also save lives continues to energize me throughout my career.  On a daily basis, I get to work within a team framework of healthcare providers including doctors, nurses, and clinical staff to best serve my community.  I had the pleasure to medically train here at Stony Brook and enjoy each day continuing my career here at this hospital.
