Mashal Salehi, MD

Mashal Salehi holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine at Stony Brook University.

After completing her medical education at Khyber Medical University in Pakistan, she joined Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center New York and completed her Internal Medicine Residency.

She pursued a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University at Buffalo, where she gained valuable experience in managing infections in immunocompromised individuals at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and caring for solid Organ transplant patients at Erie Medical Center. 

She finds her passion in practicing general infectious diseases, with a special emphasis on transplant infectious diseases, including transplants in HIV-positive patients.
