I have always been interested in patient outcomes so preoperative risk assessment and optimization is a perfect field to fulfill my personal interest. My PhD in neuroscience research and 10 years of clinical anesthesiology practice combination make me particularly suitable for taking care of my patients. Currently I am particularly focused on prehabilitation to improve postop cognitive dysfunction. I started to have an interest in anesthesiology during my last year of medical school. Only after I started my residency did I find out my mother had a cesarean section without anesthesia when she was giving birth to me
