Michael E Doany, MD

Dr. Michael Doany is a fellowship trained orthopedic physician who completed his fellowship training in trauma surgery. He is dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients facing complex orthopedic injuries, and focuses on the care of polytraumatized patients, periarticular fractures, joint dislocations, geriatric fractures, and post-traumatic reconstruction. He is passionate about improving outcomes and restoring mobility, allowing his patients to return to their active lives. Dr. Doany completed his Medical Degree at New York Medical School before completing his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery here at Stony Brook. After completing his fellowship at St. Louis University, where he mastered advanced techniques to manage a wide range of trauma cases, Dr. Doany has returned to Stony Brook as an attending physician. He will be seeing patients at our Lake Grove and East Seauket locations.
