Michael G Moskovitz, MD

Michael Moskovitz, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Attending Physician on the Palliative Care Service at Stony Brook University Hospital as well as Associate Program Director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. He joined Stony Brook Medicine in the fall of 2020. He completed medical training at Technion School of Medicine in Haifa, Israel. He returned to New York and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn with a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.

Dr. Moskovitz’s interests include resident and fellow education, prognostic communication, and the role of bioethics in patient and healthcare worker interactions focused on guiding complex medical decision-making.
