About
Dr. Michelle Menezes is with the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Department as a licensed clinical psychologist and assistant professor. Dr. Menezes received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her PhD from the University of Virginia. She completed her internship at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and her fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center. She provides assessment and intervention services to autistic children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Menezes' research broadly focuses on mental health and well-being in autistic individuals and is informed by her training as a clinical psychologist, lived experience supporting an autistic sibling, and the priorities of the autism community. The goal of her clinical practice and research program is to optimize outcomes for autistic individuals and to improve their care.
