Nga Yan Siu, DO

Dr. Siu completed her undergraduate education from William Smith College, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, along with a minor in Health Professions. Then, she attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Siu was elected to the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society, and she was also accepted to the Academic Medicine Scholars Program where she spent an extra year teaching medical students, performing research, and earning a Master of Science degree. Dr. Siu completed her residency in ophthalmology at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and the One Brooklyn Health system, and subsequently completed a fellowship in glaucoma at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York.  
Dr. Siu sees patients for comprehensive eye exam as well as patients in need for glaucoma evaluation. In addition to cataract surgery, she also performs traditional glaucoma surgery, including trabeculectomy and glaucoma tube shunt implantation, and Microinvasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) using various devices. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with the emphasis on patient education. She strives to help her patients reach their long-term goal of vision preservation, especially those with glaucoma.
