Nisha Ghayalod, MD

Nisha Ghayalod, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine and addiction medicine. Growing up on Eastern Long Island, she developed a deep connection to the North Fork community, which continues to inspire her work today. With a special focus on addiction medicine, she is dedicated to advocating for individuals living with substance use disorders and supporting their path to recovery.

Dr. Ghayalod earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her residency in family and social medicine at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, where she served as chief resident.  She completed a fellowship in Addiction Medicine with Tufts University at Cambridge Health Alliance, where she also taught and mentored medical students and residents.
