About

Dr. Boykan is a pediatric hospitalist with over 15 years of experience caring for newborns and hospitalized children and adolescents with a broad range of diagnoses. A graduate of the Renaissance School of Medicine and the Stony Brook Pediatric Residency Program, Dr. Boykan returned to Stony Brook Children’s in 2007, after one year away, realizing how much she missed being part of the Stony Brook Community. As the Associate Pediatric Program Residency Director, Dr. Boykan is committed to the clinical education of Stony Brook Children’s resident physicians. For over 10 years, Dr. Boykan has conducted research and worked at a local and National level to decrease tobacco use and exposure among children and adolescents.
